Is your packaging recyclable?Updated 5 days ago

We wish we could say yes but we want to be honest with you about this.

Our current packaging uses a mix of plastic and foil lining, which means it isn't recyclable at this stage. This is a problem we've been working hard to solve for some time.

We've experimented with a range of compostable pouches, but the challenge is that compostable packaging currently available on the market transmits light, heat and oxygen, which over time causes moisture and bacteria to form on the meat. For a preservative free product like ours, that's a deal breaker.

We haven't given up though. As packaging technology continues to improve, this is something we're absolutely committed to solving. It aligns directly with our values around sustainability and regenerative agriculture. Watch this space. 🙂
