Yes, absolutely. Here's how we ensure it:

  1. Vinegar marinade: we marinate the meat in gluten free white vinegar, which has strong natural antimicrobial properties
  2. Salt cure: we rub the meat with salt, which draws out moisture and kills surface bacteria
  3. Air drying for 7 days: removing all moisture is critical to preventing bacterial growth
  4. Oxygen absorber + sealed packaging: every bag contains an oxygen absorber to prevent moisture and bacteria forming inside the sealed packet

Our meat sticks have a shelf life of 14 months from packaging. Once opened, we recommend consuming within 14 days.
